Egypt by AsiaRoom and Keys.me

The uniqueness of a desert country, and the border boundaries being the Red, and the Mediterranean Seas, along with the Nile River bounding Egypt in a very unique fashion. This rare combination has created a wonderfully fertile Nile River Valley that is lush and green.

With Cairo being in North Africa, and the Sinai Peninsula in Asia, thus making Egypt a very unique place to visit. Egypt borders Israel, the Gaza Strip, Sudan and Libya. The ancient pyramids along with the ages old Egyptian Pyramids, makes for a once in a lifetime holiday,

With its mummies, ancient temples, and hieroglyphs, this is definitely a bucket list item. The centuries old churches, and mosques draw tourists from every corner of the world. In fact millions of travelers flock to Egypt each year just to see this magnificent well preserved glimpse back into time.

Foreigners are treated well, and the government has gone extensive in protecting the tourists from any violence. The Egyptian government is adamant and will not allow tourists to enter areas where conflict may occur. Egypt relies heavily on tourism and rest assured you will be safe. You will not be allowed to enter Northern Sinai for this reason

The Weather

Egypt is part of the Sahara Desert, very little could withstand the heat if it were not for the Nile River Delta. Summers are extremely hot and the winter season is cool not cold. The exception being in the mountains, at times there is snow on the peaks of Mount Sinai.

  • The Pyramids of Giza: Listed as one of the 7 wonders of the world, and one of the oldest known structures to man. A Greek historian visited the pyramids after they were already 2000 years old. This historian visited the pyramids in the 15th century, you do the math that was a very long time ago. So far 140 pyramids have been discovered

  • Abu Simbel Temples: The Sun Temple of King Ramses was so well designed with precision and accuracy scientists are still baffled at how things were built without modern digital tools.

  • Hurghada Island: the Red Sea Resort built in the early 20th century has become a top destination for travelers to Egypt. There are several villages that were built only for tourists, and there are many high-end hotels on the island for your holiday pleasures. The combination of local restaurants and shops have created a haven for travelers. This is the Red Seas most popular tourist destination. The nightlife on the island is lively and sparks most traveler’s attention. Lots of cheap shopping and clothing to find in the area also.

  • The King Tut Exhibit Museum: this tomb was found completely intact in 1922.The king lived some 3000 years ago, is that not astounding? The treasures found inside this completely sealed tomb is astonishing and are on display for your imagination to run amok.
