  • Shedd Aquarium: There are over 32,000 aquatic life here. The many exhibits include, aquatic shows, the Amazon Rising Reef, Caribbean Reef, Abbot Oceanarium, Polar Play Zone, Waters of the World, and Holiday Fantasia. This is a must visit in the Windy City.

  • Bobby’s Bike Hike: This is a world class tour company and one surely not to miss. They offer tours by boat, bike, trolley, bus, and walking.

  • The Great Lakes Beaches: With all 5 Great Lakes coming together to form the greatest mass of fresh water on earth makes up 20% of the world’s fresh water. The beaches are for the public and free. Swimming in the summer and fall you will find the water is pretty warm and comfortable. Oak Street Beach is where to catch a tan and be seen, this beach is busy and crowded most of the time because it is close to the city. Rogers Park, Edgewater, and 35th Street Beaches are less crowded and gives you more space for enjoyment. Hyde Park is a very beautiful spot to relax and get some great photos for Facebook or Instagram. Hollywood Beach This is the main gay beach in Chicago so if you are not open minded do not go. Montrose Beach is Chicago’s largest beach and even has a designated beach for dogs. There are restaurants, live music, and a bird sanctuary.

  • The Chicago Architecture Foundation: has right at 100 boat, bike, trolley, bus, and foot tours. The Chicago River Cruise is exceptionally special and a must do activity.

  • Chicago’s Famous Parks: Grant Park, is where you will find music festivals and is super fun for all during the summer months. Millennium Park, Midway Park, offers ice skating, winter and summer gardens. Jackson Park has golf, and is also the former site of the 1893 World’s Colombian Exposition. Washington, and Bronzeville Parks mostly are related to sprts and athletic enthusiasts. There is a park in every neighborhood of Chicago but these are the most popular in Chicago.

  • The Bloomingdale Trail: This trail is above and an elevated greenway is a 3 mile stretch covering several neighborhoods in Chicago. There are walking and bike paths, lots of foliage and flowers with benches and is modeled after the one in Paris, New York City also has a smaller version.
